Drawing on a variety of research methodologies, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) invites faculty to examine their own classroom practices, document their successes and failures, and publish their findings. This allows others to learn from their work in order to advance teaching and continually improve the learning opportunities for students. Through this process we can begin to really understand what is happening in our classrooms.
