In this interview Sr. Kathryn Holohan reflects on her desire to become a missionary at a very early age and the opportunity to do so in Papua New Guinea. One of the first four Sisters of St. Francis to contribute to a functional education system in the Southern Highlands, Sr. Kate discusses the travel to PNG as well as the lack of resources. She also highlights the success of their collaborative mission work with other Sisters from different parts of the world, not only in contributing to the education of the native people, but also founding a system to accommodate native vocation among the women of PNG.
