Abstract

This dissertation by Sr. Whalen explores her threefold research goals: the establishment of Marian College for future reference and study, an examination of the need for Catholic higher education for women as well as the institution's eventual expansion to include men, and Marian College's impact on the literature relating to Catholic higher education.
